We are only about 45 minutes from Congaree National Park. It has taken us two years to visit but we recently took the kids. It was evening, so it was still kind of chilly. But we really enjoyed walking on the trail that they have set up through the swamps. I can't wait to go back when it is warmer (even though the mosquitoes may carry us off) and we can take our time going through all the different parts of the park.
