The first-day hike
Mid-hike breakdown
Family shot
Mid-hike recovery
Hanging out before bed
We went on our first vacation with kids for a few days to Ridgehaven in NC. It is the PCA's denominational retreat. We loved it! The first day we hiked and then JM and Judah went swimming. Judah loved sleeping on his pull-out sofa. More pics from the other days soon.

Harper Four Months
Harper turned four months old in August. She had a great check-up at the doctor (more on that later). Here are her stats:
Head: 16 in.
Weight: 12 lb. 10.2 oz.
Height: 24 1/4 inches
We told Dr. Mac that Harper was not sleeping or eating very well and she said that her weight was a little low. She put Harper on Prevacid. The day after she started the medication she slept through the night. We have had six wonderful nights of her sleeping through the night!! Her eating has also improved. She is still full of smiles and "talks" a lot. She loves to be outside and loves playing with her feet. She is also fascinated by her big brother, who loves to hug and kiss her. Harper is such a blessing to us!

We love the Bryants!
We have a family of nine in our church, the Bryants. Judah thinks that all seven of the Bryant kids are the best ever and loves to spend time with them whenever he can. Shelby, the oldest, is our go-to baby sitter (the top photo). She kept Judah the other night and left him the sweet note in the second picture on his chalk board. Judah also loves Katie. She came over to help me get him ready for bed one night and I came in to find them both laying in the bed reading a book. So cute!!
