I wish I could have voted for Obama

(The all-Judah all-the-time network will pause for this brief--and surprisingly political--intermission.)

I found this blog post very informative and very disturbing. I've been bothered for some time now by the irony that the political party that prides itself in being "for" the poor and marginalized would also be so adamantly "for" the wholesale murder of thousands upon thousands of completely helpless babies. I've been trying to figure out in my mind how the same people that bend over backwards to save the environment and endangered species could not help but extend the same protection to unborn babies. Dr. Mohler's post helps connect some of these dots.

I have often wished that I could vote for certain candidates in the aforementioned party in good conscience. Unfortunately, it seems that party leadership decided long ago that "success at any cost" was more important than principle. I really do wish that I had been able to vote for America's first black president, but because of his party's calculated decision on this one issue, I simply could not.

Also, if you have not already, please look over at the right margin of our blog at the "Fight FOCA" box. Please consider this carefully and support it if you are so inclined. Obama has pledged his undying support to the pro-abortion "machine" in making it a top priority to undo much (if not all) of what has been done in the past to protect the unborn.

(This concludes the intermission. More pictures of the cutest little boy in the whole wide world will doubtless follow this post.)
